Method of connecting a cable connector to a copper strand

The connecting method of the cable joint with the copper strand wire and the fixture used in the connecting process include adding tin pieces to a plurality of blind holes at the end of the cable joint to divide the copper wire into a number of blind holes; Turn the annular electromagnetic induction heating device near the blind hole to heat the blind hole, and insert the copper wire into the blind hole; Turn off the electromagnetic induction heating device, cool the cable connector to room temperature, and connect the cable connector to the copper strand. The following describes how to connect the cable connector to the copper strand.

Technical method to connect low contact resistance, improve conductive efficiency, so that cable joints and copper stranded wire in a long time is not easy to fall off, high load operation is generally composed of cable joints, copper chain, sleeve, etc., for the transmission of high frequency current. The degree of compaction of cable joints and copper wires seriously affects the electrical conductivity and heating degree of cable operation. The cable rises and falls with the transverse arm during the working process, and rotates around with the conductive transverse arm. In the long-term movement process, the cable connector is loose in contact with the copper wire, and some may even fall off, and the current transmission efficiency is greatly reduced; On the other hand, the contact resistance between the cable joint and the copper wire, due to long, high load operation, the heat generated by the contact resistance, the heat will burn the cable joint and the hose outside the copper wire, and the coolant will flow out of the hose, greatly reducing the cooling effect of the cable and seriously affecting the efficiency of normal production. At present, there are two common methods for connecting cable joints to copper stranded wires: welding and ordinary pressure connection. Welding, also known as melting and melting, is a manufacturing process and technique in which metals or other thermoplastic materials, such as plastics, are joined by heating, high temperature, or high pressure. Although the solidity of the welding is relatively high, there will be problems such as pores and slag in the welding, which will produce a large amount of contact resistance, and the contact resistance generated in the medium and high frequency current will produce a large amount of unnecessary heat, which will damage the cable itself. The ordinary compression joint is to directly apply pressure to the copper stranded wire and cable joint together on the hydraulic press, although the contact resistance with the welding is small, but the copper stranded wire and the cable joint will produce a large gap, which will lead to the contact area is not ideal, and the transmission current efficiency of the problem is not high. Therefore, it is necessary to find a new process to solve the problem of large contact resistance and low transmission efficiency between the cable joint and the copper-steel strand.

Technical protection point

A method for connecting a cable joint with a copper strand is characterized in that the method comprises: a plurality of blind holes are arranged at the end of the cable joint, a tin sheet is added to the blind hole, and the copper strand is divided into a plurality of stranded wires, and the number of stranded wires corresponds to the number of blind holes. The annular electromagnetic induction heating device is placed on the outer side of the cable connector, close to the blind hole. Open the electromagnetic induction heating device and heat the tin sheet in the blind hole until the tin sheet is completely melted. Insert the copper strand into the blind hole and close the electromagnetic induction heating device. After the cable joint has cooled naturally to room temperature, the connection between the cable joint and the copper stranded wire is complete.
